South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner's Victims Fund

Communities, Educating & Young People, Health | Mid Glamorgan, South Glamorgan, West Glamorgan

The South Wales Police and Crime Commissioner’s Victims Fund will consider applications from voluntary and third sector organisations for funding towards specialist victim services. 

 

The Fund can support new or existing projects and specialist services that work with individuals and their family members who have been directly or indirectly affected by crime. The Fund welcomes innovative ideas of projects that would complement existing support services for victims. 

 

WHO CAN APPLY

- Local community organisations and voluntary groups with a base in the South Wales Police force area 

 

The South Wales Police Force covers the communities of Cardiff, Swansea, Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil.

  

GRANTS AVAILABLE

- Grants of between £1,000 - £20,000

All applicants must complete an online application form by 5pm on Wednesday 13th of April 2016

The Community Foundation in Wales will confirm if you have been shortlisted within the first two weeks of May. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to discuss their application with a panel on Thursday 16th June 2016 at the Best Western Heronston Hotel & Spa, Ewenny Road, Bridgend. It will be a great opportunity for you to network with other third sector organisations that are also working within the field. You or the person you choose to represent your organisation/project must attend this event for your project to be considered for funding.
