ANDREA POWELL - GRANT AND PROGRAMMES MANAGER
Andrea joined the Foundation in October 2013 having worked for BBC Children in Need for over 10 years. Andrea has worked within the voluntary sector for most of her working life, previous roles with the Foundation for the Study of Infant Death and a volunteer transport scheme in her home town of Penarth gave her a sound base on which to build. She has recently undertaken a Level 2 course in Counselling Skills and continues to learn the Welsh language. She also holds the role of Welfare Officer at her local trampolining club, where her daughters attend.
Andrea’s special interests/expertise include: children, understanding mental health issues and rural deprivation.
