BUSINESSES

The Community Foundation in Wales offers a range of services to our corporate clients, supporting them in delivering your corporate social responsibility agendas and connecting your company to the local community.  Please contact our Chief Executive Liza Kellett if you would like to learn more about how we work with business and our philanthropy services.

The Foundation can enable you and your staff to make a lasting impact at grassroots and/or national levels by identifying the very best projects for support.  Benefits of our philanthropy management services to businesses include:

Options available to your business include:

Setting up your businesses ‘Named Fund’

The Foundation can work with your business to decide on a Named Fund which best suits your giving wishes, whether that be a one-off or annual Fund for Immediate Impact, or a long-term Endowment Fund making grants from interest earned once a year – or even a combination of both.  Wales & West Utilities, Santander and Clarks are strong exemplars of corporate philanthropists with Named Funds at the Foundation.

Becoming a Foundation Partner

Foundation Partners membership is an additional or alternative way to demonstrate your businesses commitment to the voluntary and charity sector in Wales.  The annual membership fee is £5,000, of which 10% is given in strategic grants, the remainder supporting the development of the Foundation’s work in funding charities across the country.  It’s a multiplier - supporting the Community Foundation in Wales in supporting hundreds of other charities across Wales.

Sponsorship

Sponsoring one of our events or publications, or advertising on our websites, offers your company a superb opportunity to support a well respected Welsh charity.  The benefits include high profile brand and logo placements and excellent networking opportunities.

Sponsorship ranges from £500 to £10,000 and can be agreed as a one-off or long term relationship.  Recent corporate sponsors include Cheviot Asset Management, Capital Law, Hillyer McKeown Solicitors, Rathbones, ACCA Cymru and Wales & West Utilities.
