Named Immediate Impact Fund
Named Immediate Impact Funds enable you to make a donation (usually every year), with the purpose of awarding the sum in grants either straight away, or at points throughout the year, to make an immediate impact.
An Immediate Impact Fund requires a minimum donation of £25,000 and allows you, the Named Fund holder, to support your chosen causes as soon as you wish.
HOW IT WORKS
We work closely with you to outline the key causes or areas which you wish to support through your philanthropy, summarised in a Fund Agreement.
Depending on how you would like to interact with your Fund the Foundation can present you with proposals from our assessments of applications to your Fund, allowing you to decide exactly which groups you’d like to support. We can arrange project visits before or after awarding your grants to give you a true insight into the difference your Fund is making.
The Foundation charges a management fee of 10% of the value of your Immediate Impact Fund.
Wales & West Utilities has had a Named Immediate Impact Fund at the Foundation for over five years. We work closely with the team to ensure the grant making honours the business’s values and positioning. The current focus is on supporting older people and youth projects, building confidence and inspiring community activity across Wales.
