GRANTS
The Community Foundation in Wales, together with our donors, clients and Fund holders, invests in strengthening communities. Our grants recognise the inspirational role of community groups, projects and charities in identifying and addressing local needs. We also award educational grants and scholarships.

Comic Relief Locol Communities
Grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 are available.
The programme aims to empower local people, enabling them to create lasting change in their communities. Projects should be run by people directly affected by the issues they are dealing with and priority will be given to small, locally based groups or organisations in areas of disadvantage that have a clear understanding of the needs of their community.

Hawarden & District Relief in Need Fund
Grants of up to £750 are available to groups and individuals.
The programme will provide support to the following themes: groups and organisations supporting vulnerable people; individuals with limited resources; and individuals in crisis.
