Through the support of our donors we aim to strengthen and revitalise communities that are experiencing social exclusion and economic deprivation. We recognise the inspirational role of community groups and local charities in identifying and addressing local need and seek to underpin their efforts by funding constructive and innovative ways of overcoming disadvantage in its various manifestations (for the full range of projects we fund click here)
We understand the difficulties faced by grass-roots organisations when it comes to accessing secure sources of funding and we aim to provide a supportive role to projects that deliver real, long-lasting change to people the length and breadth of Wales.
Last year we were able to channel grants from our donors totalling £1.2 million to over 160 community enhancing projects in Wales. If you are interested in benefitting from a grant from the Community Foundation please visit our How to apply page for further guidance on the application process.
