LEGACIES

Many people find it difficult to decide on the cause which will benefit from their legacy. Some of our largest charities are doing fantastic work but there are also thousands of smaller charities and community groups which often go unheard, but which make the biggest of differences to the people they work with on a daily basis across Wales. By leaving a gift in the stewardship of the Community Foundation in Wales, we can work with you to decide on the geographical location and themes you would like to support with your gift.

Leaving a legacy with the Foundation is easy and flexible. We honour your wishes, making sure that your legacy reaches those you wish to support.

There are a range of options available to you:

• You can establish your own unique Named Fund with a legacy donation of £25,000 or more, which we will invest to benefit charitable causes according to your wishes. The Foundation will work closely with your relatives and/or solicitor to ensure we meet your wishes. You can name your Fund after yourself, your family, another loved one, or it can be named for the cause it supports. If you prefer, your Fund can be anonymous.

• Give to the Fund for Wales – stewarded by the Community Foundation in Wales this unique national endowment fund will continue to grow your gift, of any size, which will make a difference to Welsh communities for generations to come
