PHILANTHROPY RESOURCES
2014 was the centenary of the global community foundation movement; 100 years since the first community foundation was established in Cleveland, Ohio. The community foundation model is now an internationally recognised force for good, with a worldwide network of 1,700 community foundations and support from global institutions like the World Bank, which recognise their role in underpinning civil society.
Published during the Community Foundation in Wales' Philanthropy Week 2014, 'A Portrait of Philanthropy in Wales' provides an insight into philanthropy in Wales today.
