TOM MORRIS - FINANCE, RESEARCH AND GRANTS MANAGER

Tom joined the Foundation in February 2009 as a Researcher. Prior to joining the Foundation, Tom’s background includes an undergraduate degree in International Politics from the University of Aberystwyth and a postgraduate MA in International Studies from the University of Birmingham. Tom has extensive voluntary experience, having spent time volunteering for Oxfam and Birmingham Friends of the Earth. As a campaigner he has worked on the Control Arms campaign (a joint campaign by Oxfam and Amnesty International to bring about a global arms trade treaty), and The Big Ask (a Friends of the Earth campaign which successfully pressured the government into adopting legally binding carbon reductions).

Tom’s special interests/expertise include: the environment; the landscape of poverty and social need in Wales; sport & the arts as vehicles for social inclusion.
